Connect with a specialist to start

Our customer service representatives will get you started. We can also speak with your family member or friend if you prefer.

Confirm your eligibility and contact information

While on the phone, a ClearCaptions specialist will verify your contact information and ask you a few eligibility questions, including: Do you have hearing loss that requires captions to use the phone? Are you living in the U.S.? Do you have Internet? Can you communicate in English?

Answering these questions helps us determine if you qualify for our free call captioning services, as outlined by Title IV of the American’s with Disabilities Act (ADA).

Finally, our specialist will ask about your current phone setup to figure out the best phone for your household. For example, we’ll ask if you have an existing landline phone number or if you will need a new one from ClearCaptions.

Schedule your free in-home installation

Once we know you’re eligible, our specialist will work with you to schedule your free installation appointment. During this appointment, one of our professional installers can come to your house to set up the phone, ensure it’s in the right room and location that works best for you, and teach you how to use the service. You simply need to be present to complete the registration process, which happens right on the phone. We will make it as simple as possible! The entire appointment should take less than one hour.
